    Hello 8theme Support Team,

    I’m facing a serious performance issue with my website that is built using the XStore theme. The website frequently becomes extremely laggy, and the server CPU usage spikes to 100%, which significantly affects user experience.

    Upon checking the logs, I found multiple warning and error messages that seem to be related to the theme. These issues appear to be causing the high resource usage.

    I am attaching the logs/screenshots of the warnings and errors below for your review:

    Errors:
    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_name() on null in /home/gadmnstps/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pro-elements/modules/theme-builder/documents/single-base.php:176

    WordPress database error Commands out of sync; you can’t run this command now for query SELECT post_id, meta_key, meta_value FROM wp_postmeta WHERE post_id IN (11) ORDER BY meta_id ASC made by shutdown_action_hook, do_action(‘shutdown’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, LiteSpeed\Core->send_headers, LiteSpeed\Control->finalize, LiteSpeed\Metabox->setting, get_post_meta, get_metadata, get_metadata_raw, update_meta_cache

    WordPress database error Commands out of sync; you can’t run this command now for query SELECT a.action_id FROM wp_actionscheduler_actions a WHERE 1=1 AND a.hook=’wc_schedule_pending_batch_processes’ AND a.status IN (‘in-progress’, ‘pending’) LIMIT 0, 1 made by shutdown_action_hook, do_action(‘shutdown’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, Automattic\WooCommerce\Internal\BatchProcessing\BatchProcessingController->Automattic\WooCommerce\Internal\BatchProcessing\{closure}, Automattic\WooCommerce\Internal\BatchProcessing\BatchProcessingController->remove_or_retry_failed_processors, call_user_func, as_has_scheduled_action, ActionScheduler_Store->query_action, ActionScheduler_DBStore->query_actions

    Warning:
    PHP Warning: Undefined array key “animated_hearts” in /home/gadmnstps/public_html/wp-content/plugins/et-core-plugin/packages/xstore-wishlist/xstore-wishlist.php on line 195

    PHP Warning: Undefined array key “show_icon” in /home/gadmnstps/public_html/wp-content/plugins/et-core-plugin/packages/xstore-wishlist/xstore-wishlist.php on line 214

    Could you please check and guide me on how to fix or prevent these issues? I believe they might be related to some background processes or unoptimized elements in the theme.

    Looking forward to your help in resolving this.

    Hello @Acrdev,

    We kindly recommend updating both the XStore theme and the XStore Core plugin to their latest versions, as the issues you are experiencing may have already been addressed in our recent updates (changelog -> https://xstore.8theme.com/update-history/).

    Additionally, we suggest reviewing the following topic, which outlines potential solutions for optimizing CPU usage on your website. We have encountered similar cases in the past, and the information provided there may be helpful:

    Thank you for the suggestion. I have updated both the XStore theme and the XStore Core plugin to their latest versions (per your changelog), but I am still experiencing the same high CPU / cron issues.

    I also reviewed and attempted the fixes in the forum thread you linked, but those steps did not resolve the problem.

    Errors / symptoms I’m seeing

    Cron reschedule event error for hook: action_scheduler_run_queue — Error code: could_not_set (The cron event list could not be saved).

    PHP Warning: Undefined array key “animated_hearts” in /wp-content/plugins/et-core-plugin/…/xstore-wishlist.php on line 195.
    (If you need other logs, I can provide wp-content/debug.log, PHP error logs, or a screenshot.)

    Access & next steps
    I have already added WP-Admin and FTP credentials in the ticket’s private section — please use those to check the site directly.
    Could you either:

    Provide a step-by-step configuration or exact settings I should change to stop the high CPU usage, or

    Investigate the site using the credentials I supplied and let me know what you find and what you change.

    If you need any additional access (cPanel/SSH) or specific logs, tell me exactly what you require and I’ll provide them.

    This issue is affecting site performance, so I’d appreciate hands-on assistance. Thank you.

    Hello @Acrdev,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    The first issue appears to be related to the WooCommerce plugin. It has already been addressed on their support forum, which you can view here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/action_scheduler_run_queue-getting-stuck/.

    We kindly ask you to review the system requirements and adjust the necessary values accordingly. Please refer to the following screenshot for guidance: https://prnt.sc/VD5lOdKH2S_h.

    Additionally, we recommend checking the bot activity settings in your cPanel. To assist you further, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with access to your cPanel so that we can investigate the matter in more detail.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson
