Website Often loses styling! - by veryvivid20

Hello, over the last month my website has been randomly losing the styling every now and again, to fix the issue I have to purge the cache and it seems to come back, however this issue still randomly happens, where the style sheet seems to be thrown off and pages go to 404. I can provide screenshots of what the site looks like when this happens. But I can’t find a pattern for why and what causes it.

Could you, please, provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access to your site to check? Don’t clear the cache, please.

Hello, following on from this, I have turned off the menu caching option, do you think this may help and stop the menu styling going off?

No, menu cache is not the reason of the issue. But did you clear plugin cache? I see that site is ok again.

Hi Olga, I’ve just noticed the following message and I now believe this is the issue –

Your theme does not natively support menus, but you can use them in sidebars by adding a “Navigation Menu” widget on the Widgets screen.

Please could you advise why the theme does not support menus?

Hello,

Point is that not only menu loses the styles, site does not call theme style.css and we found that it happens when cache is enabled. We are trying to find out why the cache plugin or server cache does not include theme styles from time to time.

Our theme comes with a header builder and you choose the menu location by yourself using menu element, so you can just ignore that message about menu position.

We found that issue is caused by calling child theme styles. Working to fix it.

We can’t connect to FTP – http://prntscr.com/12o4ma8 Please check.
Download theme-functions.php file from this page – https://dropmefiles.com/xVDlT , re-upload it into xstore/framework folder via FTP. Clear all cache and check how styles works then.

Hi Olga, the same issue has just happened again on the site so I don’t think the fix has worked. It’s hard to show as this tends to rectify after clearing cache. But it will very much likely happen again shortly…
