Was last modified: date on product category page inside excerpt

Hey,
Category page in list mode shows product excerpt. If you haven’t set the Short description the excerpt shows “was last modified: date” on excerpt. how I can hide or remove this.

Same kind problem can be seen when try share the page in Facebook for example. It shows placeholder image, was last modified: September 17th, 2018, site name and site address. We have tried to overwrite this with yoast seo and also removed a few lines from framework functions with child theme. Nothing had helped..

Category page is okay now! How about when you share page the shared meta data is wrong? What we can do for that?

Hello,

If you shared page with incorrect information try to clear FB cache https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and try to share page again. Let me know about the results.

Only the image updated. Still showing in first row page address in second row “Front page” and in third row: was last modified: October 15th, 2018

I can see that page has two different meta details and can’t overwrite these original ones.

You asked me to remove that information for the product category and the shop page and we removed for the shop page page and category. Now you are talking about the home page, right? Do you want to remove that from all the pages at your site?

Yes, we want to decide by ourselves the meta details. We have also same theme in another ecommerce and want to remove same details from that shop.

We cleared FB cache and og:description is now right but og:title is still old.

Hello,

Oh, I see. Go to child theme functions.php file of the previous site and copy code related to hatom. Add that code in child theme of the other site or provide me FTP access to that site and we’ll do it for you.
