On a clean WP4 install, after activating the latest version of the Royal theme and required plugins, the following error appears at the bottom of the website:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, no array or string given in /home/marloes/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 505
When I switch back to a WP core theme the warning dissapears. What is causing this warning? Hope to hear from you soon. Live demo with warning at: http://marloes.bertplantagie.com/
As I see you don’t have installed WooCommerce plugin. It must be installed before you install the theme.
Please follow the documentation:
We actually did install Woocommece in the first place, and deleted it afterwards.
Anyway, for now we deleted the theme, installed Woocommerce and reinstalled the theme. The problem still occurs. What else could be the reason?
We have figured out that the error occur’s ONLY when we activate the main menu position.
Even when a menu has no items and the main menu position is activated the error occurs. When we activate only the mobile menu the warning dissapears… Any idea what could cause this?
Sorry for a long delay.
We’ve transferred your query to the second level support and due to large amount of work the investigation may take more time. But we’ll try to help you as soon as possible.
Thank you for understanding.
We’ve changed site to antother server. Still, the error occurs whena activating the main menu. When we deactivate the main menu, the error dissapears. Please see the private content area for the the details.
Great job! Thank you very much for the great support. Do we need to the modifications in mind if the update is available or could we just update to the new version when it’s released?
