    Hello!

I have a problem with Waitlist – Sales booster. When I have a variable product and I have a combination of at least 2 attributes, I see “in stock” (from the stock product widget) and below the message This product is currently out of stock and unavailable. The products have stock per variation, the problem only appears with that Waitlist widget active.

    Thank you!

    Dear @Ginel,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We would like to clarify that the XStore waitlist feature, as previously mentioned, is designed to work exclusively with simple products. Upon reviewing your store, it appears that most, if not all, of your products are variable. For instance, as shown in this example https://prnt.sc/3o0CBmUT8IfE, no variations are available, and the product is categorized as variable. As a result, the XStore waitlist feature is not displayed for such products.

If you prefer to continue using the waitlist functionality provided by other plugin with advanced settings to configure, you are welcome to do so. Please note that we do not require you to use only the features provided by us.

However, if you would like us to enhance the waitlist functionality to support variable products as well, we encourage you to submit your request via our roadmap page: https://www.8theme.com/roadmap/. This will allow us to assess the popularity of your suggestion and consider it for future updates.

Please read this topic for details -> https://www.8theme.com/topic/waitlist-feature-only-for-single-products/

We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your feedback.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson

Thanks for the reply. I hadn’t seen that topic. I understand now that you only developed for simple products, but that doesn’t mean that that extension has to block variable products. It’s the difference between not being functional on variable products, and blocking the product page on these products. We would appreciate it if the plugin would actually not activate, working only on those simple products.

    Dear @Ginel,

    Thank you for reaching out.

If the built-in functionality meets your requirements, you are welcome to continue using it. However, should you need additional features, you may consider installing a suitable third-party plugin to address those specific needs.

If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to create a new topic.

Once the main issue in this thread has been resolved, we kindly ask you to mark the topic as closed.

    Hello again,

I don’t think the problem has been solved. I definitely think you have a problem with the integration of that module that you developed. I want a solution so that I can use the functionality for simple products as you said, and that it doesn’t affect my variable products in any way. I don’t think what I’m asking for is additional functionality, but a fix for a bug that you have.

    Dear @Ginel,

We hope this message finds you well.

Could you kindly provide the URLs of both a simple product and a variable product that are currently out of stock? This will help us better understand the issue you are experiencing, as it seems there may have been a misunderstanding.

Please feel free to share the URLs in the private area for confidentiality.

    Best regards,

Try accessing both products with the Waitlist extension enabled. You will notice that for the variable product the add to cart area is hidden, and a message appears stating that the stock is unavailable.

    Dear @Ginel,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to inform you that since you are using a Single Product layout built with the Elementor builder, it is necessary to add the following widget to ensure proper functionality: https://prnt.sc/5ndYVm5lCN0v. We have now added this widget for you.

Additionally, we noticed that the Waitlist option was not activated on your site. We have now enabled this feature for you. Once activated, the widget can be properly configured as shown here: https://prnt.sc/0pcWnBi2tYHK.

Please note that the “Add to Waitlist” button will appear only on Simple products that are currently out of stock, as demonstrated in this example: https://prnt.sc/3izYkfeNytlI. This button will not be displayed for products that are in stock or for product types other than Simple, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/14kahMgxrz_l.

Kindly review the changes at your earliest convenience.

    Best regards,

It seems that we have a problem understanding the reported problem. Please carefully check the variable product with this active widget. I knew I had to add it to the product page, it was added. THE PROBLEM I AM REPORTING IS THAT THE ADD TO CART AREA IS DISAPPEARING with the active module on virtual products (although I have stock on variations). I do not want this module to work, I understood that it does not, but I do not want it to affect my VIRTUAL PRODUCT page in any way.

    Dear @Ginel
Ok, we will check once you send us the correct url to the product because the one you sent redirects us to 404 page.
    Kind regards, Jack Richardson
