    Hello,
THe problem has to do with W3 Total cache plugin.

When i activate the “page cache” option of the total cache plugin the shopping cart price/quantiy doesnt change when i switch pages.
I think it has to do with the fact that since the pages are getting cached so does
    the cart.
Is there a way to exclude the cart from page cache? Or any other way to
make the plugin work as it should?
    Thank you

    Hello,

Sorry, but we don’t provide support for 3rd-party plugins.

    Regards,

    Hello,
I understand the reason that you cant do that.

But i have tried every cache plugin and the situation is the same.
Do you suggest any cache plugin or do you have a way to cache, that is compatible with your theme and not causing problems?
I am pretty sure caching is very important for speed and especially with big sites with a lot of costumers and of course google page speed!!
    Thank you

    Hello,

Please delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and reupload it from the theme package you downloaded.
Then check Cart page and clear browser cache before.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I did that but still doest work properly.
It works when you clear cache but thats not the point:
Let me explain because i dont think you understand.
When i enable W3 total Cache plugin or wp super cache or any other plugin it creates static html pages in order to be served faster.
The problem is that in every page there is the cart widget which sould be dynamic and not to be cached because you may need to add or remove products.
So lets take a real case scenario.
I have enabled the cache plugin.
The static page has been created.
SO when i open the page i get the cached page.
Now if i add a product to the cart, the cart will stay although there are products in it
because i see the static page. The cart and some other elements should not be cached like the rest of the page. Or maybe load the cart widget after the page has cached.
Please make a test to yourself and you will understand what i mean.
Its very important to have cache enabled!!
    THank you

Ok i am sending you the test site. Just click on randomly on some pages first then go to shop add something to your cart and then go back to to other pages to see that the cart remains unchanged.
OF COURSE YOU MUST NOT BE LOGGED IN
    Thank you
