Visual Composer timing out - by Jamie - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Visual composer is allowing me to make changes to some of the elements like text box,etc. but if I try to add a single image it just spins forever and will not add the photo or update the page. All plugins, theme, and wordpress versions are current and up-to-date. Server memory limit is set to 64 as recommended by woocommerce. Please advise.
