Visual composer so slow - by burneyrubber

Hi
why is visual composer soooo slow,i am forever waiting for it to load ,it`s borderline useless.
im sure you will say it is visual composers problem but it was part of the theme so i would expect it to work.

Hello,

I’ve checked backend Visual Composer editor and it’s loading quite fast.
Try to check it in other browsers.

I am having the same problem. Most of the time is doesn’t even load. I have tried 3 different browsers, reinstalled the latest update but nothing is helping.

As I see you’re using old VC version. Update it to 4.12 version https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/

i have also tried other browsers with no luck 🙁
it is painfully slow,just a simple task like adding a picture to the site takes forever.
any other suggestions?

I’ve tried to add Single Image element to your page and it has been added successfully. I didn’t see any problems with VC editor loading.

I updated the plugin and I still can’t get it to work right. Text box is the absolute worst. Any Suggestions?

Hello @Katie2005,

As I see the problem with Visual Composer persists when “Yoast SEO” plugin is activated. Try to deactivate it and check VC editor.
