Visual Composer & Slow load speed - by minky87

Hi ,

After updated to the latest version of the theme as of today, my VC does not function despite activated the plugin.

The load speed is also slow.

Kindly assist, tqvm!

Hello,

You had to delete wpbakery folder from the theme directory before updating to 2.2 version.
Please read our notification: https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/upgrade
I’ve already removed it. Please check your site now.

Hello Eva, It’s all back now , thank you very much!
Btw, the initial loading speed is still very slow.
Could something be done or do i have to post to the slow site thread? thank you for the great support

I updated to the latest version of visual composer (from 4.1.2 to 4.2.3) but VC still does not load for page editing. please help.

Did you specify in the plugin settings for which pages it should be used?

Good morning. It is set to be used on pages only. I am trying to open the home page in VC. The option is available on the top bar as well as “edit page”. it tries to open it – but the VC logo just spins and it never gets it open. strange. However, it does open other pages.

The home page has a revolution slider and a featured products shortcode on it. that is all.

Any thoughts?

Hello,

Are you trying to edit the page with VC frontend editor?
If so we recommend you to use backend editor instead as there is a bug in the theme with the VC frontend. We’re sorry for the inconveniences.
This issue should be fixed in future updates.

Hi , for me happening the same:
