Visual composer and double proceed to checkout

Hello there,

Im having an issue with the visual composer, it wont let me edit my pages. Please can you help me and tel me what to do?

Also I have double proceed to checkout options and the one on top works but the the bottom one just loops.

Hello,

Old Visual Composer version isn’t compatible with new WordPress version.
You must update all plugins via FTP, download the archives here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Also update the theme to the latest version.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

Hello,

You need download the plugins:
Master Slider v 2.29.0
Revolution Slider v 5.2.5.1
Screets Live Chat v 2.0.5
Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer v 3.16.3
Visual Composer v 4.11.2.1

Extract the archives and upload new versions to your server in wp-content/plugins directory overwriting the current folders. For example to update Visual Composer plugin go to wp-content/plugins directory and overwrite the folder “js_composer” with a new version that you download. The same process is for other plugins.

Thanks for your reply and help with the updating my plugins, so theres no update on the actual theme just the plugins?

Also can you please check the double proceed to checkout button on my website? I only need 1 and the top one works but the bottom on just loops.

And finally on the contact page the email captcha image is not loading up.

You need also update the theme as my colleague said in the previous post:

Also update the theme to the latest version.

You need download theme archive at ThemeForest site http://themeforest.net/item/royal-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/8611976 . Log in with your Envato account credentials and find the theme archive in Downloads section.

Ive also got a a lot more issues now like fonts, menus, social media icons etc but only on my home page and terms page

On my shop page
– all the fonts have changed
– the language symbols on the menu need to disappear
– the currency symbols
– all the images are under each other than in carousal
– I cant login to my wordpress

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home4/autenber/public_html/deadwoodapparel.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/mojo-marketplace-hg/inc/notifications.php on line 22

And the site is just a mess! Theres got to be an easier way to update a theme in future without loosing all your settings.

I’ve just checked the Contact Us page and the captcha is working fine there.

The checkout button doesn’t work!
My social media icons don’t work!
All the fonts have changed!
The language symbols and currency symbols need to disappear!
The footer on the about page is not even there!
OMG the list of problems are endless, Im going to have to do a fresh install of my entire website once AGAIN because you guys cant fix the proceed to checkout problem!

I have to reinstall my entire website and still face the same issues! All I wan to do is add new products to my website but the visual composer doesn’t work so I cant edit a page or products!

Then I want to only have 1 working proceed to checkout button!
When I update the theme all my settings and other functions on the website don’t work!

Something has gone wrong here and needs to be fixed, but its probably going to be left up to me to find an alternative theme or platform in the end, because this is unbelievably hard work.

Hello there,

My website has been down for 2 weeks now and is getting worse, my home page is completely out of sinc and has no layout at all. Ive had to post a message saying its down because we have some technical difficulties.

After I reinstalled my entire website I still face the same issues! I just want to add new products to my website but the visual composer doesn’t work so I cant edit a page or product!

Then I want to only have 1 working proceed to checkout button!
When I updated the theme all my settings and other functions on the website didn’t work!

The rev slider doesn’t work as well and its just looking un usable. Can you updated the theme and plugins for me and just get it working again?

The site is using a coming soon/maintenance plugin at the moment.

Ill drop my wp-admin and FTP credentials in private and hope you can fix my site.

Hi there Robert,

Thats great thanks I think it worked, can you take a look at few more issues I have with the update?

– On the home page on the top menu I want the currency and language convertor to not show up
– Also my social media icons have gone back to default, how do I customise my footer social media icons
– On the shop page can you remove the image and double lines, and the categories at the bottom of the page
– Also on the shop – the add to cart button and next page dont work.

Thats all I can see for now.
