hi i downloaded, installed, activated visual composer however it wont let me save when i edit a text box and also still shows notification “This theme requires the following plugin: Visual Composer.”
please help

Thanks for the help, i cleared all my caches and checked it on firefox/chrome/mobile and still wont work. the notification is gone but when i open visual composer, try creating a new text box it wont let me save it after i edit the text. i click the “save changes” button and it does nothing.

OK so i just tried it and worked for me on home page however i need to edit “welcome-front page” for some reason it isn’t working for that page. any idea what it might be?

Hello,

The same issue persists with default WordPress theme too (Twenty Fifteen). So, it’s related to the plugin, not to the theme.
Try to disable all 3rd-party plugins and check VC editor then.

wow im losing my mind i tried again after i disabled all plugins and still no luck. Was thinking maybe if try starting a new page from scratch it might work.I tried getting support from wp bakery but it seems i need some kind of purchase code. i noticed theres a new update for VC will that update be availble for download?
