Video on Section not working on Mobile (not responsive). Not Elementor problem

Hey there, thanks for the theme! We’ve being using it in several projects. But we have a problem that seems impossible to fix. All our videos in “background of a section” in Elementor don’t really do a responsive thing. Per ex: the video is horizontal in desktop but in mobile elementor “autocut” it to vertical. We’ve tried in Kadence Theme and it works, XStore theme not really. Any help in here?

In case you are talking about Elementor plugin settings, you need to contact their support first. Did you do this? What answer do you get?
Check how it works when the default Elementor theme is activated – https://elementor.com/blog/introducing-hello-theme/
If our theme and Elementor theme give different results, we will check this situation more deeply and help you.

It works with hello and Kadence theme. Elementor settings has nothing to do with that. Has I said, with other themes works with no problem.

Here 2 screenshots regarding this issue:

1- With XStore Theme -> https://imgtr.ee/image/wG50G

2-With kadence and Hello -> https://imgtr.ee/image/wG6A7

The problem is the video not adjusting automatically to vertical section in XStore.
It’s the same video. It just auto adapt in mobile to vertical inside the section.
I’ve searched in the settings of the theme, plugins… No possible answer.

We’ve discovered something that can also help. If the video it’s from Youtube, does not work. If the video it’s uploaded to the wordpress library works.

We rather Youtube because it does not host on our server (for obvious reasons).
Does that help?

To sum up. In the section you can add a video. In the URL choose a Youtube URL, in Mobile, the video does not adapt to vertical.

Regarding the wp-admin, do you really need that? don’t really like to give that kind of access (has you can imagine). We can book a call and you’re be able to see and try whatever you want, but we need to be watching. Sorry for the inconvenience

If you do not want to provide access, please save the page as a template and sent us the file (upload it on a filesharing service, for example – https://wetransfer.com/, and provide us with the URL).
Then we will import it on our test site and do fixing there first.
