    Hi,

Today (I think after updating WooCommerce) the site has started showing ‘&v=#’ with # being random. It happens on every page and now interferes with logging into the administration panel, for example, because my url/admin no longer works (replaced with url/admin&v=#

I have done a bit of reading and think it is the WooCommerce geolocation setting storing the IP address. (See link: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/204937/why-v-hash-is-added-to-my-urls)

I have no idea how to fix this! Any ideas? I have given you an admin login (see private content).

    Thank you

    Matt

    Hello,

It’s because of WooCommerce settings (WooCommerce > General > Default customer location > Geolocate with page caching support). Read for more information https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/

    Regards
