VC Products Widget (Bestsellings) does not show bestselling products

Dear Support,

we have an issue with the VC Product “widget”. If we set the products property to bestsellings some items are displayed but they are definitly not the bestsellings. The full page content looks like the following:

[vc_row][vc_column][etheme_products products="bestsellings" title="Bestselling Products" limit="15"][/vc_column][/vc_row]

The products displayed does generally (or at least subjectivly) have a low total_sales meta value.

Thanks a lot,

that would be great if you could fix that. The credentials for FTP are in the private content section.
Just as a note: Finally the product-widget (with bestsellings option) will be used on the front page – the dummy page is ment for testing purposes only. (Of course we can change that on the frontpage ourselfs if the widget is fixed in general.)
