    Hello …

I’m having a problem with using the VC Products Element which comes with the Royal Theme (Located in the Eight Theme Tab) on the homepage.

I’m trying to output a row of products which the “Products type” is set to ‘Featured’ and that they belong with a certain product category ID but it’s not outputting the products.

This function was working prior to upgrading to v3 of the theme.

    Any ideas?

    Many Thanks

    Just an update …

I’ve also tried using the shortcode within a Text-Block element and I still have the same result:

    e.g:
    [etheme_products title=”Fancy Dress” type=”slider” products=”featured” limit=”10″ categories=”97″ desktop=”4″ notebook=”4″ tablet=”2″ phones=”1″]

    Best Regards

    Hello,

A Very likely problem was caused by new WooCommerce version. Our latest theme version is 3.0.1 and it is compatible with WooCommerce 3.0.1, so, please, wait for theme update.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Hi Rose …

I’m running into this same issue again.

Our client looks like they upgraded WooCommerce to version 3.0.4

Is the theme not fully compatible with 3.0.4 version of Woocommerce yet?

    Best Regards

    Hello, @shafiqkhan,

The latest theme version is fully compatible with WC 3.0.4.
Could you please describe your problem with more details?

Please make sure that you use the latest version of Visual Composer and Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/
Also, provide link to your site and wp-admin access in Private Content.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Hello Rose,

Yes I can confirm that the latest version of Visual Composer and Ultimate Addons for VC are installed.

The issue i’m running into is as follows:

On the homepage of the store I added the Eight Theme ‘Products’ module
    See https://ibb.co/c9rM7a

I then customize it so that it’s set to display products from a particular category and which are only set as featured.
    See https://ibb.co/b9vaYF

The problem i’m facing is that some products which are not set as ‘featured’ (when adding/editing a product) are still appearing within the module, so not sure as to why this is happening.

    Hope this is understandable.

    Many Thanks

    Shafiq :sK

    Hello,

Please provide wp-admin access in Private Content, because we have not such issue on our test site.
Also, try to disable 3-rd party plugins (means the plugins that are not included in the theme package are not in the list of required plugins) and update WC to 3.0.7 version.
Then clear cache and check featured products.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Just posted the details Rose.

Please refer to the 2nd ‘Products’ element for Fancy Dress.

I’ve only assigned one product within this category as featured but more than one products from this category are appearing :-/
