Variation swatches out of stock not working

Hello,

I have an issue with variation swatches. It seems it is not working.

Even though it is set to display with a cross line, it doesn´t.
This product in black is out of stock in M, S, XL

Do you guys knw why is not showing?

Your issue is resolved now, please check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

The variation swatches are working perfectly fine. I have captured a video for you on your site. please watch it completely for a better reference under the private content area.

Hi Tony,

Happy new year!
So, we were checking on the solution yo provided, but I dont think we can work with that.
Changing the product status to Out of Stock and deleting the product price is doble the work, because we use inventory control, and the product get to be out of stock automatically. If we have to be checking every variation that is out of stock and deteling the product price, it is just not eficient.

Also, we do have many other sites created with Xstore like sochic.com.ar maysix.com.ar and the Swatches work correctly when Out of Stock.

Is there a way of making it work as it was before?

Hi Rose!
Happy new year!

No, we weren´t able to solve the problem. For the swatches to appear crossed, the prices have been erased.
We need the variation to appear crossed when the product is set as Out of Stock without erasing the price. Specially because we use Inventory management, and when the products get to 0, the swatches should appear crossed.
We are using the same theme on other sites and it works perfectly. I don´t know if we modify something or we need to configure something differently.

Oh wait!
So sorry! but I just realized that when we check ¨Hide out of stock items from the catalog¨ on Woocommerce Product configuration, the swatch disappears from the single product page.
Is there a way to make it stay. When clients don´t see the product, they think its an error on the site and they contact us asking about it. And when it is shown Out of Stock, then then know.

On maysix.com.ar and sochic.com.ar it is working perfectly.
I checked and the ¨Hide out of stock items from the catalog¨ is not checked.

I can give you admin access to those sites if needed.

Provide URL of product where is it perfect from sochic site.

Yes! of couse!

Sochic is woking without checking the ¨Hide Out of Stock item¨

Here is the producto showing the out of stock product without hidding it.

Sorry for the delay in answering.
How did you make it to should different view for incognito? Do you use a plugin or a cache of some sort?
Please provide FTP access to both sites, so we can take a closer look.
If you do not know how to create FTP, contact with your hosting provider, they will help you.

Enabling this option https://prnt.sc/T4VmfgFplBH8 is required to show X on out of stock variations.
We do not know why it work on https://sochic.com.ar/shop/pantalon-kim/ , but it is not predefined behavior from our theme side there.
Sorry, but we can’t give you a solution for https://hamaratadenim.com.ar/ , because it works fine – according to predefined in the theme behavior.
You need to find out how you achieve the desired work on the sochic.com.ar site and repeat it on another site, but we can’t assist you because of the previously mentioned reason, unfortunately.

Hi Rose,

I understand! Great! Really dont know how we made it work, but lets just leave sochic as it is and we will see how we manage with hamaratadenim.com.ar.

To make it show different view for incognito we use a plugin. May be that is the one helping out with this.
