Variable Product Skus Not Showing - by Carmen

Hi,

Our Royal theme version is 5.0.1 and WooCommerce is 3.6.5.

I noticed that for variable products, the sku is showing as n/a, and does not change when the image is clicked.

This is also happening with another site with an older version of the Royal theme and WooCommerce.

Please provide us with the URL of the mentioned product + temporary wp-admin and FTP access.

It’s all of the variable products on aidacorp.com and buyaida.com that are affected.

FTP also does not work. Sorry missed to check it the first time.
Response: 331 User rose-support_rose-support OK. Password required
Command: PASS ************
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

Hello,

We were able to update theme without FTP. If the product has the SKU http://prntscr.com/oqgmf7 I don’t see problems with it on the frontend http://prntscr.com/oqgnc5
Could you provide us with the link and Dashboard access to another site where the issue still persists?

When I click on the image it does not display the sku number. Before it would change to display each sku based on each product image.

I am sorry but the problem has not been resolved. The sku is not displaying at all on variable products.

If there is code I can add that will fix this, I would appreciate it.

The site is still aidacorp.com that is experiencing the problem.

Add the SKU for your products and you’ll get it on the frontend.

The variable skus appear when you click on edit https://prnt.sc/orpks7. Only skus for simple products appear there per your screenshot.

Variable skus will not save in the other field as you noted. I have tried this.

Hello,

It’s not related to our theme. If you did not add the price for the variation you don’t get them on the frontend, this is how WooCommerce plugin works, you can switch to any other theme and check. Once you add the price for the variation, you’ll get the drop-down options on the frontend and SKU for every variation http://prntscr.com/os0o4i
