Hi There,

I am getting an error when trying to install and i need a little help:

this is the error

Installing Plugin: Ultimate addons for Visual Composer
The plugin does not have a valid header.

Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…

Plugin install failed.

I hope you guys can help me with this,

Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.

Hi Eva

I am having the same error. Im doing this locally with xampp so i wouldnt be able to provide logins.

I have tried 2 different versions of wordpress as well as a different version on the Ultimate Addons Plugin and that didnt work either so my only conclusion is that there is an error with the theme?

Hello @beals,

You should install the plugin via FTP.
Connect to your server and upload the plugin folder (extract it before) to wp-content/plugins directory. Then activate it in wp-admin panel > Plugins.

Hello @beals,

Please check if other folder like “ultimate_vc_addons” is present in wp-content/plugins directory.
If it is, delete it and keep only “Ultimate_VC_Addons” folder.
