Users Can't Register! - by rwlee33 - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hi,

    Fairly major issue here. I’m having trouble with new users registering use the username and password fields.

    The user will enter a username and password, click “Register” and it just takes them back the same screen, but the login fields are populated with their username. When they enter the password it says there’s no login by that name. I’m not getting alerts and not seeing their login in the user list.

    My social logins work, but not the manual registration.

    Can you try to create a login and assist with this?

    Hello,

    We are using default WooCommerce registration. Please, check if you have this issue with official WooCommerce page – Storefront. Go to Appearance > Themes > Install and activate Storefront theme and check the registration.

    Reply back in case problem persists with our theme only and provide FTP access to your site.

    Hi, It’s 7 am in Australia. Is there any way you can reply during the day, before 12pm London time (11pm Melbourne time), that way we can work together and I can make changes and we can resolve issues faster. As it is, I get most of the responses while I’m sleeping, and it takes another 24 hours to get a response.

    Are you by any chance working now? Please let me know. Thanks.

    I switched themes to Storefront, I can’t tell if there are the same issues.

    I switched back to XStore now. Can you test and try to create a username and password yourself on the XStore theme?

    I see you registered, thank you. I see a few issues and will video shortly to send you.

    1. If the user doesn’t use a strong password, it just refreshes the /my-account page and autopopulates the username in the log in. There are no error messages. So, it looks like they registered and need to log in, but actually, they didn’t register. It’s very confusing.

    2. When a registered user logs in on the /my-account page with username and password, the first attempt refreshes the page, and the second attempt logs in. Again, can be confusing.

    Can you try logging in and see if you get the refresh screen on the first attempt? And able to log in on the second attempt?

    Hello,

    Yes, now I got the issue. I see you are using additional plugin to login using socials account try to disable it and check again. Or provide me correct admin panel access in Private content area, so I’ll be able to test.
