Upgrade Version 6.02 – Portfolio Category Sort Function No Longer Working

    After upgrade to V6.02 xStore theme from 5.xx I am having problem with portfolio page (we call it projectds). https://exteriorcoatings.com/projects/ . When using the any of the 11 displayed category links the sort function no longer works at all and no sorting takes place. The actual portfolio (projects) work fine when clicking on the picture.

    Hello,

    Do you use some CDN? We made changes on your site in the js file but don’t see any changes on the frontend even if we cleared the WPRocket cache?

    Ok, cleared the CDN cache today and no impact. Portfoliio sorting still does not work :(.

    Our technicians will be available on Monday, due to weekends, sorry.
    Could you contact us Monday – Friday and temporarily disable the CDN then?
    Or you can waite for the next update of the theme, the problem will be fixed.

    Hello, @georcarson

    Could you, please, disable CDN to allow us to fix the problem and check if our fix works? We don’t understand if our solution works when js files are cached by the CDN and we don’t have ways to clear it. Our developers are available Monday-Friday. So, please, reply back to get help with your issue.

    CDN Has been disconnected and CDN cache cleared again. Hopefully you can fix the portfolio sort issue. Thanks

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, CDN or server cache are not flushed and still enabled http://prntscr.com/pbnz02 . You can check it by yourself. If you check theme version in backend you’ll see 6.1.1 version. But if you inspect the frontend and check the style.css version you’ll see the out of date version 6.0.2 https://gyazo.com/f45701b49f8b065cf80e3e92d90716d4
    So, I would recommend you to contact hosting support or CDN support to get help with cache deleting if you get fails with this.

    Ok, using Google Chrome js lookup tool, website now showing rel 6.1.1 active, see screen shot https://prnt.sc/pbrlev. Look forward to getting my project page fixed, still doesn’t work after upgrade. THanks.

    Hello,

    The portfolio does not work because the portfolio page does not have the correct body class that is required for scripts. We hardcoded that class to make your portfolio work during the weekend. But our developers will continue working on your site on Monday to find the reason why it does not work with normal default functions. So, do not change access to your site, please, till my next answer.

    No, that version does not include fix because our developers continue their work on your site, we need a little bit more time to find out. Sorry for this.

    We have finished. We have updated theme to the latest version 6.1.2 and also added fix. This fix will be included in next 6.1.3 update of our theme.
