Upgrade to 2.2 not upgrading visual composer

After the upgrade the version 2.2 I still see the Visual Composer as in old version, and the updates for it are still requested to be done. I do not find any wp-backery folder within legenda folder. And there is no visual composer zip over the whole 207 mb of archive. How can this be upgraded?

Hello,

To update Visual Composer you need re-download the theme archive at http://themeforest.net/item/legenda-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/5888906 where we’ve recently included the updated versions of plugins VC and Revolution Slider. After you unzip the archive you’ll find the plugins in legenda/framework/plugins directory. Upload the new version of js_composer via FTP and remove the old one.

Can you please give the specific path to find the new version of VC. I downloaded the latest version of the theme from July 10 and it’s not included in the “plugin” folder along with screets chat and Revolution Slider.

Hello,

After you downloaded the theme archive, you need extract it and there you’ll find one more archive “Legenda_v2.2.zip”, extract it as well and open this folder. Then open the folder “framework” and “plugins” inside of it. And VC archive “js_composer.zip” is located in there.

Unfortunately, this is still the old version of Visual Composer, not v4.2.3 which was released in early June. There is a problem in this old version where the teaser grid will not sort items randomly. Since the Legenda update has been delayed again, please upload the latest version of Visual Composer.

Hello,

The last Visual Composer version is 4.2.3. We did theme update at July 10 and include to theme archive the latest version of Visual Composer. Please try to download it again and update plugin as it described in our documentation (https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/installation).

What about the functionality of the theme, this theme lacks the upgrade for plugins feature, I just upgraded to 2.3 and none of the built in plugins were updated. Any way I can have this running without hassle? specially VC plugin.

We’ve recently produced 2.4 version of Legenda theme. Please download it and update your theme. There you’ll find updated versions of Revolution Slider and VC plugins. They are placed in legenda/framework/plugins directory.
