Hello, I am upgrading all plugins and themes for http://www.maquinasfebal.es . Before do it on PROD environment I am doing on TEST.

Can you help me to do the all header and foother with the new theme options? I you can do it I will clone this on PROD.

See differences:

We can’t log in to your test site WP Dashboard https://prnt.sc/you3r9 Production is ok.
Also, we need FTP access to your test site.

Hello,

I created header using header builder and using the header banner widget area to add the secondary menu. Also, I created footer using Static Block https://prnt.sc/ytoqmw
Also, added some changes in child theme files and child theme styles.

Check now.

Hi Olga, thanks. I didn’t response you because I didn’t get and email with your responde.
I see your changes, thanks. But a couple more questions: why mobile menu its not the same?
the static block for mobile menu has disappeared?

To finish, when all will be ok, do you think the best update method its:
– Sync themes folders: from DEV to PROD
– Export xStore preferences from DEV and import on PROD.

Hola Olga, good morning. Thanks for your work.
I can see:
– Mobile menu: MENU tab > PRODUCTOS > Envasado > …
Seem its limited to two menu levels. If you see PROD you can see this menu has until four levels. You can see in PROD environment too how menu levels are right (menu slide to left and user can see subcategories).

– Desktop Menu: Happens something similar. Inside “Envasado” category “termosellado” hasn’t show subcategories.

– Desktop Menu: Sucategories force uppercase and cut the full name “Envasadoras de vacío con campana”. I can see a too widther space to the left, on submenu divs.

– Desktop Menu: Items are not aligned horizontally.

– On Blog (maybe on all pages) header hasn’t have margin bottom and appear together main content.

– Forget this (Its right: http://testing.maquinasfebal.es/tienda-online-profesionales/maquinaria/envasadoras-de-vacio/envasadoras-de-vacio-con-campana/ ). Custom fields has disappeared on categories page (description behind category header and additional information behind product’s category list, before row “POR QUÉ ELEGIRNOS”) :

Hello,

1) Mobile menu. There are additional menu items on the production site https://prnt.sc/100xhhz But there are no such items on the dev site. Did you add these items after creating of the staging site? Items will stay after the update. New version of theme does not have slide menu type for the mobile menu. Only levels design https://prnt.sc/100xnnp

2)

Inside “Envasado” category “termosellado” hasn’t show subcategories.

Because you added these items to your menu after creating of the staging copy. You’ll have these items after the production site update.

3)

Check drop-down of the extra menu now.

Hi Olga, good morning.
Please, on point 5) make the margin bottom bigger, 30px.
Point 6) Its all right. It was a mistake mine.

Well, to update on PROD environment:
1) What do you need from me? PROD is not updated.
2) When could you do the configuration migration? and, how much time do you thing you will need? Its a PROD site and we need do the upgrade jobs quickly or on a day hour with only a few visitors (on nobody). Before 9 A.M here in Spain (I think you have one hour more)

5) You can control it by custom CSS in the child theme https://prnt.sc/103y5gv
Check now.

1) We need WP Dashboard and FTP access to your prod site.
2) I think it takes up to 1-2 hours. We need to move files, create widget areas, edit settings etc/
Tell us when we could start tomorrow.

1) WP Dashboard: Do you have this from the first post of this topic.
FTP: I write you on Private content area.
I have enabled your IP on the firewall (95.158.49.94). If you have any problem, say me.
You have a backup (done now) on root ftp path.
2) From 5.A.M (UTC +1) . Its ideal to us finish before 9.A.M . I think you have UTC +2

Point 4) Desktop Menu: Items are not aligned horizontally. Appears again.

Do you know why theme config say support has expired? Envato say me I have support with 7 months left.

Another one, on second principal menu (background pink), on mouse over “envasado” item, automatically appears two submenus “termosellado” and “bosas de vacío”. This comportament is not a good behavior. Its seems to be options of the same item (termosellado).

Any solution?

Hello,

If you renew the support period just click at the Reload icon and support period will be synced. Our developers are working on the drop-down menu issue.
Could you explain in more detail what exactly is not aligned?

Hello, the drop-down works fine but the logo (header left side) has desappeared.

In both, desktop and mobile resolution.
