    Hi

I have a question about updating plugins manually.

I have downloaded updates from https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/

To replace latest versions of each plugins, do i need to delete current plugin first then upload? Because if i dont delete and try to upload says “Destination folder already exists. /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/”

What is the best way to do it?

    Hello,

Are you updating plugins via WP Dashboard?
You need update them via FTP.
Connect to your server via FTP (using FileZilla client, for example), enter wp-content/plugins directory and overwrite plugin folder (for example “js_composer”) with the one you downloaded (extract the archive before).

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Jack

Thanks for your reply. Got it. But looks like there is a bug.

I have uploaded files to right folder. I have checked it from Plugins it has been updated. But when i go any page to edit, to any block, i can not EDIT, back end popup doesn’t comes. Also when i want to add new element, things comes messed up. Front end works i can edit on the website.

I have tried 2 times to upload but still nothing, any idea?

Do you want me to delete plug in and upload from WP Panel?

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

As I see Visual Composer works perfect now. Please see screenshot: http://prntscr.com/8ee70s

Could you please clarify with more details what exactly you mean and show us screenshots?

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.
