Update Variation ID input when scrolling through product photos on Product pages

On the product pages i’m looking to dynamically update the Variation_ID input with the current photo i’ve landed on. Unfortunately i can’t find a way to get an array of all the variations for any product. Would you have a code snippet that would fire off the list of variation_IDs on each product page?
