  i received an email from theme forest to that an update to my theme is available. so i logged into my account and found in the plugin two downloads for the theme, part one and part 2 respectively, to my there of one page agency. which one do i upload? do i have to erase the previous beforehand or will it simply update?

  Hello @quorumlab,

  you can download the latest version at this link:
  https://themeforest.net/item/royal-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/8611976
  login with your Envato account and go to download area.

  Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.

  Don’t forget to make backup of the site before update.

  (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

  Hello @frmaninc,

  You should make all changes in the Child Theme to avoid any problems after updating theme to the latest version.
