    Hello, Isabel Lima,

Thank you for using our Theme. We understand that you may be concerned about the complexity of the update process. To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend the following steps:

    1. Take a complete backup of your site before updating the Theme to avoid any potential issues.

    2. Deactivate all third-party plugins before updating the Theme.

    3. Take a backup of your custom code and remove it from the site before updating the Theme.

    4. If you are using a Child Theme, activate the Parent-Theme before updating the Theme.

    5. Clear all caches from your server and site, and then check your site after clearing the browser cache to see what changes have occurred.

    6. Go to Appearance >> Themes and update the Theme with one click.

    7. Go to XStore >> Plugins Installer and update the Theme’s required/recommended plugins one by one.

    8. Check your site after clearing the browser cache to see what changes have occurred.

    9. Activate the Child Theme.

    10. Activate all third-party plugins one by one.

Finally, check your site after clearing the browser cache.

For more information on how to update the Theme, please refer to our Theme documentation: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/63-theme-update

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team.
