Update Issues when attempting to update through WordPress or Plugins installer under Xstore

    Good day,

    WordPress can not update the plugins associated with Xstore(package missing error), and when I click the Update button in the Xstore Plugins Installer nothing happens either. I have installed the Envato Market plugin and activated it with the code generated with all permissions given. Xstore is also activated in WordPress. Please help as I would like to update everything properly.

    Please provide temporary wp-admin access.

    To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password via the Private Content area.

    To create FTP access (FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, FTP encryption) , please contact your hosting provider for assistance.

    Hello, Pronto Pasta,

    Please contact your hosting provider and ask them if they block outgoing/ingoing connections to our server 136.243.62.54
    Do you have white/black list on your server or restriction by IP?
    Try to downgrade the PHP version.
    It can be an issue with server settings that are blocking something and causing the problem, so please contact your hosting provider.

    About WordPress errors, it would be better to contact WordPress support.

    There are no IP blocks in place. What PHP version would you suggest I use? Also, can you give me more details as to what to ask the service provider, aside from the blocked IP address? Why do you believe the IP is blocked? What is currently going on?

    “Why do you believe the IP is blocked? What is currently going on?” – we suspect that there may be an IP block (either a whitelist or a blacklist) in place, as your server is not receiving or transmitting any data from our server.

    We have switched over to PHP 8.0 and there were no blocks in place – but they have whitelisted 136.243.62.54 for the next two hours in hopes of resolving this. Thank you so much for the help thus far and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Have you gotten an answer from hosting on why “your server is not receiving or transmitting any data from our server.”?

    When I click update nothing happens, as a matter of fact I can not activate or deactivate plugins through Xstore either.

    Hello, Pronto Pasta,

    1) It’s unclear why your file paths are being rewritten. For instance, WPBakery Page Builder (js_composer) has been rewritten to WooCommerce, and FileBird has been completely removed. You can see the issue in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/PWY8DHUj4bMM

    2) Similarly, the default updates through WordPressare not working. More details are provided in the video(in private content). Since you have a Content Delivery Network (CDN) in place, there might be an issue related to it, such as certain settings preventing file synchronization or other issues. Therefore, the first step is to disable the CDN and check the problem with default updates from WordPress.

    I’ve contacted server support regarding the CDN, and they will be getting back to me shortly. As for content being overwritten, do you have any idea what might cause that at all? Would it be possible to fix it if I somehow reinstall Xstore and all of its plugins? Trying to update WP Bakery, for example, through WordPress normally gives a package missing error.
