hey there,

I am using xstore-theme.

My woocommerce status told me to update my xstore-child archive-product.php from 2.0.0 to 3.3.0

I tried to update the child 2.0.0 with my parent 3.3.0

but receive still the same error message.

xstore-child/woocommerce/archive-product.php Version 2.0.0 is old. Mainversion is 3.3.0,

How can i proceed?

Hello,

You just need to compare 2 files https://text-compare.com/ and add the missing code to your child theme file.

So I am comparing

a) archive-product.php form parent with
b) archive-product.php from child
and see several differences between the versions of a)3.3.0 and b)2.0.0

“Add the missing code” = Overwrite b) with a) ?
So I just copy the archive-product.php from parent and overwrite the one in child them with it?

I just overwrote it in the design>> editor with the parent archive and it seems like it works.

Great. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.
Also, I would recommend you to edit .php files via FTP, not via the WP editor.
