    Hi.

Maybe a simple question if you know the answer?

I have been using / updating Legenda since v.1.2 … mostly, all has been v.smooth with superb support … but now with v2.1 and the latest Woocommerce 2.18 – I have a new and unwanted left sidebar category list appearing on my main product page (which should just show a full page grid of category images) …

Where oh where do I turn that unwanted list off? I have searched everywhere and again!

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Could you please provide us with the link where sidebar is shown and admin panel credentials in Private Content?

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

You need remove a widget from Main Sidebar area in Appearance > Widgets and insert an empty text widget into there.
If the issue is still present please provide us with admin panel credentials.

    Regards,

The main sidebar had/has two widgets active, which are “Woocommerce Cart” and “Woocommerce Products” … displayed on the right, not left … as was the case before the upgrades.

There are other widgets called “Categories” and “Woocommerce Product Categories” … which could display like just this issue, but neither of these have ever been active.

I have deleted all widgets from the sidebar … just to see what happens .. and it has had no effect.

It may be of interest/relevant here that when I updated the theme this time ONLY the menus needed to be re-activated, not any of the widgets … which I thought was both unusual and even helpful. Seems I may have been fooled!

So possibly we have a non-active widget being displayed, in a place that is not specified???

    Any progress?

I reverted back to Legenda v 1.9 … and the issue disappeared immediately. So it is definately something to do with v2.1.

    Hello,

I was unable to log in to admin panel. The error stated “The password is incorrect”. Have you changed it?
By the way, to assist you on that issue you need have 2.1 version installed. So, please enable it.

    Regards,

Ok, I see that you have viewed the site and probably conclude the same as that it is a theme issue?

    Hello,

Please try to disable sidebar in Theme Options > Product Page Layout > Sidebar > “Off”. But sidebar will be disabled on category pages too. If you want to leave products only you need create a page without sidebar and just add a shortcode for categories display: [product_categories parent="0" number="9"] and add that page into menu in Appearance > Menu.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Ahh, now that was too easy, no wonder I completely missed this image option being reset (for the first time) with the new theme version! Thank you sincerely for your time and attention. Issue resolved.
