Unable to update Xstore theme to 3.9 - by sugi1119

Hi,

I cannot update the theme to 3.9 from 3.8.1.
I had the same issue before to update to 3.8.1 and it was solved with follow the instruction: to use FTP to upload the file.

However, in this time, I uploaded 3.9 file with FTP, but still WP-ADMIN site shows the theme is still in 3.8.1 and need to update.
I had done more than 3times to redo the update via FTP, but no luck.
Please advise.

Hello,

Please, provide me WP Dashboard access and also FTP access. We’ll help you to update theme.

Thank you for your reply.
Also, the 8theme instagram does not shows the feed and shows: “Instagram did not return a 200.” error message. Is this also related to the update theme?

We can’t connect to your FTP, got Response: 530 Login authentication failed. Please, provide me correct FTP access.

I have updated theme via admin panel. Check, please.
Also, I would suggest you to use smaller logo for the fixed header, it will look more neat http://prntscr.com/ekap9z

Seems Instagram has some error because of the Instagram site https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/kidssydneyjewellers/ when we try to check the tags page we get and error. That’s why you see the same error if trying to use hashtag in widget. But username woks fine.

Hi Olga,

Thank you for update the theme and sorry for the FTP access was not working at the time and gave you hustle.

I am not sure why the update did not work either from admin panel or from FTP upload, before.

I will check the size of the logo for the fixed header.

Hello,

Seems Instagram changed the rules and it does not show the images by tag for non-logged in users anymore. We are working on this problem. Instagram by username works fine. Use it till the update.
