Unable to mark products "Not on sale"

Hi there

I have this product slider on the homepage with New products and products on Sale.

However the On Sale is also showing products which aint for sale. These 4 here aint on sale http://i.imgur.com/RF8nOGr.png but they are still showing up in this slider. If i click “View more”, then i see a lot of products on sale, and some not, mixed in between.

Any idea what could be wrong?

I know im using outdated Theme and Woocommerce, but this worked before, and an update is not an option at the moment due to heavy modficiations from previous developer which didnt use a child theme.

If you cannot find the issue from the outside, is there any chance you can point me in possible problems it could be so i can look into it?

We recommend you to update the theme and Woocommerce plugin to the latest versions.
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before update!

Check products slider after that.
