    Hello,

I’ve been experiencing an issue for some time now but haven’t had the chance to report it until now.

Whenever I attempt to make changes to the homepage and click “Publish,” I encounter a 500 Server Error, and the changes don’t go through. As far as I can tell, this issue only affects the homepage — all other pages are publishing as expected.

At the moment, I’m unable to make any customisations or updates to the homepage due to this error.

Could you please look into this when possible?

    Thank you,

    Hello @Terpsauce,

It appears that your homepage contains a large amount of content. To ensure that the content updates properly, we recommend increasing your server resources. You can refer to the official Elementor documentation for guidance: https://elementor.com/help/500-error/. If your current server values are lower than the recommended ones, please contact your hosting provider to have them increased.

Please note that this request is not directly related to our theme, as the issue is associated with your server settings and the amount of content on your pages.

Hi Jack, I appreciate the response.

With regards to content on the page, can you specify further? Because I have not added any new section or content to the home page, other than changing the images on the default demo theme, all images web optimised etc.

Just so I know exactly what you mean? A technically, nothing was ever “added” only changed in terms of look.

    Hello @Terpsauce,

We previously suggested that you contact your hosting provider to increase the memory limit on your website. Have you implemented this recommendation? It is possible that some of the content on your page is generated dynamically, meaning that new elements such as terms, posts, or categories may have been added as a result of backend modifications.

    Hello,

I have not yet, I just wanted to confirm with you exactly what the issue was, so I could determine if it was fixable myself without server support.

I will contact them and let you know the outcome.

    Thanks

    Hello,

A staging environment was created. And the server memory has been increased to 512MB, however, server 500 still appears when making changes to home page.

Ive provided two URLs in private area.

You should be able to use the same details to login on both..

    Normal website: No server changes.

Staging website” Max set to 512MB”

Issue is still the same on both sites.

    Hello @Terpsauce,

Could you please provide us with the correct wp-admin access details in the private area? We attempted to use the previous credentials, but they appear to be outdated.

Additionally, could you temporarily increase the memory limit to higher value that now like to 1024 MB (just temporary for testing) and check whether this resolves the issue? This will help us determine if the problem is related to the server configuration. If not, we will explore other possible solutions.

    Hello @Terpsauce,

We have checked the Home Page editor on both your staging and live websites, and it is now loading correctly. Please review the screenshots provided in the private content.

Could you please clarify whether the issue occurs on a specific browser or device?

    Hello Jack,

I never once mentioned that the pages don’t load. I specifically mentioned

‘Whenever I attempt to make changes to the homepage and click “Publish,” I encounter a 500 Server Error’

Nothing had changed on live site. Error still appears.

Staging site, error does not appear since 1024mb was set, however you specifically asked this to be set purely for testing purposes.

    Hello @Terpsauce,

We have modified the content on the homepage of the staging website for testing (please check the private area) and published it successfully. This confirms that increasing the memory limit has resolved the issue on your staging website.

We recommend increasing the memory limit on your live website as well, since the WooCommerce log shows fatal errors related to memory limit issues (please refer to the private content). These errors are the reason why publishing does not work on your live website, while it functions correctly on the staging one.
