    Hi,
Does our Woopress theme support Ultimate WooCommerce Brands? I want to buy the plugin but in the light version I cannot test if it really works? The idea is that the brandname will show up under the productname in de categorie page.

    Thanks!

    Regards,

    Bob

    Hello bobvansoest,

unfortunately this plugin was not tested with our theme so we can not guarantee its full compatibility with Woopress. You may use it on your own risk.

    Regards,
    Stan Russell.

    Hi Stan,

Thanks for you reply. I tried the plugin but unfortuntly it is not working. We really want to let it work and I want to ask if there is a possibility to add something in the CSS so it will work. This is the troubleshooting text for the plugin:

This plugin will work fine with any well-coded WordPress WooCommerce themes that does not changed default woocommerce HTML structure (HTML tags) for product listing and product page layout. If you configured plugin, added brands, assigned it to products but does not see your brands on category and/or product page this mean theme that you use bad coded and you need to contact theme developer for help (he need to modify theme layout tags to look like default woocommerce theme tags to work with plugin).

I hope you will and can help me.

    Regards, Bob

    Hi Eva,
This is the reaction of the plugin developer:

“Hello, your theme changed default HTML layout in WooCommerce. You can use latest plugin version to add your JQuery selectors to show brands in custom position.
You need to ask your theme developer for help because you have issue in your theme.”

In de link I have the printscreens to try to explane what Iam talking about.

I would be great if this will work. Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

I’ve checked Twenty Fifteen theme and haven’t seen brand names in product category “Gezicht” too.
Have you checked it with default WordPress theme?
But as I see brands logos are shown on single product pages http://storage2.static.itmages.com/i/15/0828/h_1440764084_6551961_c78b01ddf5.png so as with Twenty Fifteen theme too.

Please check if that plugin works properly with default WordPress theme and let us know.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva,
thanks! I checked it and you are right. Its not working.
This was the reaction of the plugin developer.

“We checked your theme. Your theme developer does not follow WooCommerce best practices and deleted unique product ID’s from WooCommerce categories CSS classes. Without this our and many other plugins that works with theme templates on category pages will not work.”

Iam a little bit disappointed, but on the other hand it is not in the theme we bought.

    Regards, Bob

    Hello,

As brands aren’t shown in default WordPress theme Twenty Fifteen then Woocommerce team should provide you with some solution. Did they fix the issue with Twenty Fifteen theme?
You need ask them to investigate it with the default theme, then we’ll investigate the compatibility of that plugin with our theme.

    Thank you.
    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Jack,

This is the reply on your email from the plugin developer.

” Our plugin work without problem with any default theme and default woocommerce templates. Your theme changed woocommerce layout and theme developer does not use unique products (posts) ID in product layout listing. This does not related to our plugin that your theme bad coded.”

    Regards,

    Bob

    Hello,

Sorry, but I don’t see brands titles with default WordPress theme:
    http://storage8.static.itmages.com/i/15/0831/h_1441039030_9742043_db5b5e0475.png
So the plugin doesn’t work there too.
Please take our apologies but we don’t provide support for 3rd-party plugins, especially if they don’t work with default theme.
You need describe the issue to the plugin authors with more details.

Tell them that brand titles aren’t shown on product categories pages. Don’t mention our theme, ask them to check it with Twenty Fifteen theme. Don’t copy our answers, describe the problem with your own words, but check attentively the plugin work with Twenty Fifteen theme. If you see issues there too then you have to ask the plugin developers to investigate them.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Jack,

    This was your message:

There are no issues. The plugin works.

Now you ask me to put back/ install the woopress team? I will do, but the plugin work is the basic team.

    Hello,

In your screenshot site url is bnnieuw.beautynatura.nl, but you gave us access to the site beautynatura.nl. On this site beautynatura.nl brands aren’t shown even with Twenty Fifteen theme. Please check it and show us screenshots if you see brands titles with default WordPress theme.
Also specify what theme exactly we should check.

    Thank you.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Guys,

Please think with me for a second.

The category is shown, if I activate this, under the product picture on the category page.
If I change the category into a brand, then the brand will be shown under the picture on the category page.

If I do that I need a new ‘category input block’ where I can add categories to the product. For example there are a few options: custom categories, categories, product categories (already in use). How do I get an extra block nest to a product input page.
