Tagged: update theme
Hello,
I’ve updated my WooPress theme to 2.5, and also the plugins, and I have some troubles:
1. All of my pictures on my page “changed” their sizes. Till now, when I inserted a picture as a “Single Image” into a column (e.g. 1/4 width) using Visual Composer, it was the same width of the column, and it was responsible. Now it is shown in full size, or any other fixed sizes like medium or small, but not responsible, and pictures go below the text blocks.
Tried to make new rows and columns, but now I can’t insert a picture in the right way.
2. The WooCommerce plugin says that my Theme contains some out-of-date pages. I’ve checked the System Status and I’ve found this:
woopress/woocommerce/order/order-details.php version 2.3.0 is out of date. The latest version is 2.4.0.
Does it mean any problem for me?
3. Since the update, scrolling the page with mouse became very slow.
What should I do to fix these problems?
Thanks,
Zsu
Hello,
You need delete the file wp-content/themes/woopress/vc_templates/vc_row.php. It’s removed in Woopress 2.5 version.
Also this file woopress/woocommerce/order/order-details.php needs to be removed.

Hello Eva,
1.
http://www.freshmood-design.hu/shop/freshmood-scents/kamu-termek-tesztelni/
This is a fake product page to try how it works, and the bottom of the page tere is a static block inserted with three “Info Box” elements. The size of the icons is 150px (setting in the option panel of the boxes), and now it’s horrible big:

And an other example with rows and columns I mentioned, this is the home page. There is a part with a photo of me in green clothes and a text block in the right. When I created it, the picture fit to the width of the column, it’s width was 1/3.
Both was good before the update. Anyway the problem is everywhere I inserted pictures using “single image”.
3. Tried to switch off all other plugins one by one, and all of them at the end (except the ones that come with the theme, of course) but it didn’t helped.
Regards,
Zsu
Hello,
1. I’ve added this code in Global Custom CSS:
.aio-icon-component.style_2 .img-icon {
width: 150px !important;
}
.wpb_single_image img {
width: 100%;
}
Please check pages now.
3. Please check if the issue persists with default WordPress theme.

Hello @radhika,
Please watch the tutorial how to update theme:
(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins http://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hello Fantasia,
The theme update affects only the theme files and do not influence the data base. But, to avoid any difficulties, please, do the backup of theme files and data base before any update.
If you have edited theme files – please move your customization to Child Theme
After update please navigate to Theme options and click on ‘Save settings’.
Regards,
Stan Russell.
Hello,
changed the theme, scrolling is still slow…
BUT I tried to switch off plugins as you adviced earlier. I’ve switced off all, this time including the ones that belongs to the WooPress theme too, and switched on them one by one.
I found that Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer plugin makes the issue in both themes. This plugin was updated at the same time with the theme. Do you have any idea, how to solve this problem? Do the problem exist only for me, or other users noticed it too?
Thanks,
Zsu
Hello @fantasia,
If you have the same issue with default WordPress theme too then the problem is related to plugin.
Please take our apologies but we don’t provide support for 3rd-party plugins and for the plugins that are implemented in the theme.
We didn’t received such complaints from other clients.
You may ask the plugin authors about this problem:
