    Hi,

Recently Eva helped me to translate the Postcode / ZIP into Hungarian, which was in the /www.esszencianatur.hu/wp-content/languages/plugins directory. I do not know why but it became English by today again. And in the woocommerce file I cannot even find the “Postcode / ZIP” line either.

What happened and why? And how can I translate it for good?
Unfortunately the customers now do not write Postcode to the orders and it can be problematic on invoicing.

    Thank you.
    Regards,

    Fedor

    Hello,

    I’ve updated Woocommerce translation files.
Clear browser cache and check the translation now.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi,

Thank you. I see it is ok now. But I should know what happened so that I can do it myself. How it can happen that by itself it goes back to English. To check it daily is crazy – I want to avoid it.

    Thank you.

    Regards,

    Fedor

    Hello,

We can’t know what was the issue.
I just updated the file as described here http://betterwp.net/wordpress-tips/create-pot-file-using-poedit./ (“Updating a .po (and .mo) file”).

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi,

After update to last Legenda and WC I found two translations that I cannot find in the po files.
    These are:
    http://data.hu/get/9941361/woocommerce_messages.jpg
    http://data.hu/get/9941362/cart_widget.jpg

How can I translate these texts?

    Regards,

    Fedor

    Hello,

    I’ve updated translation files.
Now you need delete cache on a server and in your browser and check the translation.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi,

Sorry Jack, but I see no changes (I deleted cache), still, the thing is now worse than before because other things went back to English!!

Not long ago I contacted woocommerce because of bad translations regarding the caracteristics of Hungarian language and they answered me, that they do not have currently a Hungarian translator, and they cannot develop it. That is why myself made a lot of changes in the WC language file. If you updated it now to the WC language file, then it is bad for me.

I wanted to solve the translation problems myself, but I did not find these problems in the language files – where I could make them.

I can put back my corrected language files in the afternoon so that I can get the earlier status. From you I need an information clearly, where I can make the translations to the marked problems (in my message #138019).

That is all I need. I do not need the original WC language files!

    Regards,

    Fedor

    Hello,

Some texts were updated in new Woocommerce files, but your translation files are old and need to be updated. You should do this as described in this article http://betterwp.net/wordpress-tips/create-pot-file-using-poedit./ (“Updating a .po (and .mo) file”).
Update Woocommerce files in the wp-content/languages/plugins directory, also update theme files from new theme version in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/languages.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi,

Sorry Jack, but you do not understand me.

You say my translation fies were old. Of course they were old! And I made it with poeditor, I know this program. I had to make it long time ago and it worked well since many updates!
Of course there were newer ones from WC, but none of them were developed.

You updated my old files, but you solved nothing with this update. The things that I sent you in the pictures are still in English – so the newest WC translation files did not solve anything.

I presume the WC translation files are not the subject here. Where are those English texts coming from? Only this you shold tell me.
If you see these problems you could see that none of these are in the file of woocommerce-hu_HU.po file. So not WC files are relevant here. See them:
    http://data.hu/get/9941361/woocommerce_messages.jpg
    http://data.hu/get/9941362/cart_widget.jpg

So where are these coming from? (I checked my Legenda translation files, too, but that is OK as well.)

    Thank you.

    Regards,

    Fedor

    Hello,

If you check default woocommerce.pot file you’ll see the text http://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/16/0829/h_1472472601_5665255_febcb332b5.png , but it’s missing in your woocommerce-hu_HU.po file because it’s not updated with new Woocommerce version.
So update your current files to get new strings.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi,

Ok, firstly, this is I wanted to know, thank you. I made the update, but my problem only partly solved.
Here still I have the problems: http://data.hu/get/9947064/translation_problem_on_cart_widget.jpg

These are not in the WC language file. I did not find them in Legenda either. Where are they coming from? (Cart widget…)

    Please look after!

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Fedor

Thank you. I found the file and modified the text.

But please tell me how I have to put it into my child theme?
To where I should copy this modified php file?

    Hello,

When you edit some files in the parent theme and don’t want to lose modifications after theme update you should create a child theme https://8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/child_theme
https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes and copy the edited file to the same file structure in the child theme.
We have already created and included child theme in theme package. You just need to find legenda-child folder in theme package and upload it to /wp-content/themes/ folder of your server.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Hello Rose,

I made it as you wrote but something is not ok, yet.
I gave the pass codes in private content. Could you take a look at?

    Thank you.
