Translation "Subtotal" - by mleihs

Hi,

I can’t find “Subtotal” (see image link in private section) within the Legenda translation files. Did I look in the wrong place?

You can find this word in \wp-content\plugins\woocommerce\includes\abstracts\abstract-wc-order.php file on line 1744

mhk. Is it possible to do this using po/mo files?

Touching the .php files is quite a struggle when updating because one has to keep track of the changes.

Please read more here how to translate woocommerce localization.
http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/

Also you can do this via Child Theme.
Please copy file into it saving folder structure like:
wp-content/themes/Legenda_child/woocommerce/includes/abstracts/abstract-wc-order.php and there make changes.

Hi Robert,

mhk.

I’m using the Woocommerce translation package for German language at this site. It seems to be a mainstream component / up-to-date so it would be weird if they skipped the string “Subtotal” which is included in the Woocommerce checkout process per default. However, I just added another – less mainstream – package for German language to test things.

I’ll look into this and report back.
