Translation problems using loco translator

IT needs to be translated from english to portuguese including xtore core.
There are error after translating, even following tutorials references:
https://poedit.net/ and languages /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder.

Nada Happened.

1) We can’t log in to your WP Dashboard https://prnt.sc/0CyBb0cBbVxe Please, provide us with the correct username and pass.
2) Have you followed theme documentation to translate theme https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/30-base-theme-translation
Try to use Loco Translate plugin to translate theme and XStore core.

Hello,

I have uploaded translations because it was missing https://prnt.sc/BhsVEzUBlmro It’s a partial translation that we got from our client. So, you can continue to translate missing strings (Loco Translate > Plugins > XStore Core, Loco translate > Themes > XStore).

To translate header texts go to Theme Options > Header builder > edit Cart element and translate text strings, Search etc.

Let me know if you finish the translation but still have any missing untranslated strings.

Hi xtore team,

To translate xstore core i had to upload translation file but only translated till 16 or less percent. The complication for new comers comes from terms like. Po file etc. still researching more.

Result: Portuguese (Brazil) Atualizado: maio 11, 2022 5:44 pm – 16% traduzido, 1.887 strings (28 incerto, 1.565 não traduzido)

Should main theme be translated as well or only the child?
After error on upload file, it said: rename file to:
(xstore-core-pt_BR.po) then i have gone till translation folder and renamed a file, so it went well but translated only to 16%.

As per the header texts and other translations i wil do well. it just the core for now (:

Hello,

You need to translate the parent theme. The child theme should be translated only in case you added custom code in child theme that includes localization functions.
You need to continue translation of the theme and Core manually via Loco translate. You do not need to translate all strings, just texts that are visible on the frontend.
