    Hi, I’ve followed the guide on https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/how_to_translate

    I’ve translated the text with poedit and created these files: sv_SE.mo and sv_SE.po

    Added these two files to folder …/legenda/languages

    Added this code to wp-config.php file in wp root: $locale=‘sv_SE’;

    Is there anything else I need to do or activate?

    I noticed that in settings>general that it says Site Language ‘English’, I tried to change it to Swedish and save, but after the setting/page saves/loads it’s back to English. So seem it doesn’t permit me to change it :/

    Thanks for all help

    Hello,

    You wrote incorrect quotes in the code $locale='sv_SE';. I’ve edited it.
    Please clear browser cache and check your site now. It’s translated.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    At first I didn’t understand what was the difference from what I wrote, but now I see it’s the ” ‘ ‘ ” signs that I used wrong signs. Thank you very much for the help and sorry for my silly mistake 🙂
