    Hi,

I noticed some words and phrases which I have to translate into Polish language.
I also purchased WPML to run a multilanguage webstore, but I can’t find how to translate words in your theme in basic (PL) language. Please asist me.

This is general problem with XStore. The template description on Themeforest says “Includes 20+ languages”, including Polish. This means that ALL phrases in the template, or at least those on the frontend, MUST be translated. Meanwhile, even such simple phrases as “Posted by” or “Continue reading” are ONLY in English. This means that the template does not match the offer on Themeforest.

Will you provide full Polish translation in accordance with the offer?

    Hello,

The theme comes with partial translation
    https://xstore.8theme.com/glotpress/projects/xstore-theme/pl/default/
And you can use it for start and finish translation. Also, you can share the finished translation of the theme and core plugin if you want and we’ll update our translation.

If the mentioned strings are missing for you it means that either you did not use our translation or did not translate all the strings. Provide us with WP Dashboard access to your site and we’ll check your problem in more detail to guide you.

    Regards

In Poland we have simple law: if you sell something, the product MUST conform to this description. You wrote that Xstore has a Polish translation – and in fact it does NOT! I must waste hours translating the strings by hand.

In Poland, this is called “non-conformity of the goods with the contract” and allows for a refund OR the seller must bring the product to full compliance with the description.

You may have translations on GitHub, but for Xstore it’s two years old and out of sync with the current template. And there is no translation for Core. In addition, you need to be able to find, download and install them manually. Why can’t it happen automatically in a commercial product?

In addition, you want me to make my translation available to you for free – but you will earn money by selling it as part of Xstore…

    Hello,

The theme comes with partial translation
    https://xstore.8theme.com/glotpress/projects/xstore-theme/pl/default/
If it’s not suitable for you we can give you refund if you want. If you provide us with the WP Dashboard access we’ll be able to translate missing strings. So, what do you prefer?

I don’t want to return. But I would prefer to know BEFORE buying that the Polish language is translated only 25% in the theme and 0% in the Core.
I propose to fix the language descriptions in ThemeForest so that they are not misleading.
I will translate the front-end myself (the backend is not important) and adapt it to my own needs.

    Regards
    Pawel

    Hello,

Ok, we’ll improve the description to mention that theme includes partial translation. Let me know if you still have any problems with the translation of theme strings.

    Regards
