Translation into French issues – help us

Hi,
I hope I’m not posting at the wrong place.
We have translated Xstore theme .po file and the Xstore core .po file,
but the site is still in English. We cleared cache and used private browsing in vain.
how to handle this situation?

Hello,

Thank you for using our theme.
You set the site language English in Settings > General https://prnt.sc/W8HyQFiU9U6U
But it should be French if you need to apply French translation.

Maybe this was done by a team member in the meantime for some reason.
Changing the setting to French does not alter the text. (I’ve just done that, and the site is still in English)
You can try changing the language by yourself and verify.

Don’t place translation to author directory because it won’t work and you also lose translation after theme/plugin update https://prnt.sc/xEDB04c13Xuf
Check site now.

We have translated 100% theme’s .po file and 100% core’s .po file.
Where should we find other text in English to be translated.
Only a small part of the site is now in French now, mainly the ones from WooCommerce or other plugin.

Hello,

All the hardcoded strings are translated. Now translate pages content, edit header and translate header texts, for example https://prnt.sc/QrBLf0RZzLzD etc
