    Hello,

I’m a new customer to xstore and everything is great but have a few questions.

    1) How to remove or change color on the “line” over the tabs widget/product slider – as seen in this picture: http://imgur.com/a/3TfXf

    2) Is it possible to show the search icon on mobile view? Now only wishlist and cart is showing but you need to press the menu -> search to be able to search on mobile.
If possible I could remove the wishlist and add the search icon instead?

    3) The 8theme social links in the “right side top bar area” widget opens the social media page in the same windows, how to change so that they are opened in a new tab? Example <a href=”test.com” target=”_new”

    Thanks

    Hello,

    1. that’s the main theme color you select in 8theme options >> styling >> content >> mian color
anyhow if you want change the color for only on that button you need to use this custom css
    .btn-underline:after, .et-tabs-wrapper .tabs-nav li.et-opened:before { background-color: #000 !important; }

    2. this is not possible by default. you may need some customization for this. I’ll check with my team and confirm this.

    3. Appearance >> widgets >> right side top bar >> 8theme social media link and expand then go to the bottom you can see options for ‘link target’ : http://prntscr.com/fgeuhx

    Hello Amzy,

Thank you, great answers as always.

Follow up questions on “Filter by Brand” widget:

    1) Im using the widget “filter by brand” in the shop sidebar, i translated this with loco (as all translations on the website) but the translation doesnt work, see this screenshot http://imgur.com/a/jhPp2

    2) The widget “filter by brand” shows brands even if the products in that brand have zero stock, if you press the brand you will come to the standard “No products were found”, if all the products in that brand have a zero stock the brand should not show up in the list, how to fix this?
    Screenshot : http://imgur.com/a/aOpFn

    3) If i navigate to a category in my menu – in the example “Sunglasses” the filter by brand shows all the brands on the website, it doesnt narrow down to brands in that specific category, I currently only have sunglasses from Lacosté, so the only brand that should show up in the brandlist is Lacosté if i press Sunglasses -> see screenshot here http://imgur.com/a/Ep3VS

Thanks and have a great day!

    Hello,

    1) Go to Appearance > Widgets > change the widget title if you want to change this. Loco Translate helps you to translate strings from the code but not from the admin area.
    2) Check “Hide empty brands” http://prntscr.com/fgn5cc
    3) This widget is Brands list it’s not a filter like WC layered nav filter for example. That’s why it works in the same way as WC product categories – displays list of the brands.

    Hello olga,

    3) if i put the widget -[8THEME] Brand list on a page and the brand have products but the products dont have stock and your woocommerce is set to “dont show products if no stock” and you click the brand you just come to “empty page”.
It’s one thing if the brands have products or not, but it’s another thing if the brand have products but all the products in that brand is out of stock = no result, is there a workaround for this?

Did you get any response from your colleagues about “Is it possible to show the search icon on mobile view? Now only wishlist and cart is showing but you need to press the menu -> search to be able to search on mobile.
If possible I could remove the wishlist and add the search icon instead?”

If it’s not possible to implement search there do you know a way i can just add a search icon instead of the wishlist that toggles the navbar (same toggling as the nav icon)? That would just simply oopen the nav and show the searchbox to the user which would result in a ok user experience.

    Edit:
Another question – on the startpage of the website i have a hero-image in the top, at first it’s small and then after a second it goes fullwidth/full size

It’s correct to be fullwidth and full size but why is it smaller at first and then “pops”? It feels like the css that applies fullwidth is applied a while after the image is loaded or something like that, if you navigate to the startpage you can see it thanks.

    Big thanks 🙂

    Best regards Marcus!

    Hello,

    3) Oh, I got it. I sent this task to our developers and I think we’ll improve the option of Empty brands and it won’t show the brand if it includes out of stock products that were hidden from the catalogue. Follow the updates.

    4) You can try to show the search icon if you have CSS skills http://prntscr.com/fjblb4 there is search form there but it’s hidden from the header for mobile devices and placed into menu area. Further customizations from here would be getting into custom development, which is outside the scope of support we can offer.

    5) It’s related with scripts of the visual composer. When the page is loading the row is not full with so image is in the container then script makes it the full width and image become full width. You can enable preloader to hide site while page loading is in progress.

    Regards
