Top bar social icons - by Brockway - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Hi there,

it is possible to add social icons to top bar ?

If yes, how ? bacause the options in theme options are not pretty clear about that.

Hello,

To achieve this you need add Text widget with [share] content in ‘Left side top bar area’ or ‘Right side top bar area’ sidebar (Appearance->Widgets).

Thanks, but where did i choose the icons to display ?
And what link they do ?

Hello,

You can edit the file in wp-content/themes/royal/framework/shortcodes.php (line 1950) and comment the code of icons you don’t want to display. To change link to you social page you need edit the code, for example for Twitter <a href="https://twitter.com/share?url='.$permalink.'&text='.$post_title.'" class="'.$tooltip_class.'" title="'.__('Twitter', ETHEME_DOMAIN).'" target="_blank"> and replace https://twitter.com/share?url='.$permalink.'&text='.$post_title.' with a link to your Twitter account.

Hello,

In this case you need edit the same file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/shortcodes.php and write new code according to the existing code for social icons and modify it a bit due to the icons you want to use. Or use some plugin to show social media icons.

Hello,

You can only add widgets to top bar in Appearance > Widgets, there is VC editor in top bar.

I dont understant, does VC work there or not ?

Also i will need a different top bar per language, i guess it is not possible ?

Could you please clarify with details what you mean saying “Did the area in top bar support VC?”?
What exactly do you want to do or to add into top bar?
There is no possibility to add different top bar per language. Sorry.
