  My top bar height has increased to several times the height that it was before; I didn’t do anything that I’m aware of. How do I get it back to ~50px? it actually looks as though there is a space above the bar that wasn’t there before (I’ve recently updated the plugins so I assume that’s what causing it) and it just so happens to have the same background color as the top bar.

  Hello,

  Do you have this space with parent theme activated on site?
  Have you tried to disable all 3rd party plugins?

  The space is gone now that I have removed code from my child theme that was causing an error as well. Nevermind!
