    I’m having a hard time updating the product thumbnails. I uploaded new photos with the same file names, then regenerated the thumbnails, using two different plugins. Didn’t work. Then I removed all the images from wp-content/uploads and re-uploaded the individual product images, and the same thumbnails old appeared! I’m going a bit crazy with this, because I thought I removed all the thumbnails, but the same old ones appear for the products on the shop page and sliders.

    You can see if you go to the shop page and click a product (select one of the headwear, which are dark) and do a quick view. You can see the thumbnail is dark, bit the image itself has been lightened.

    What am I missing here? Can you help me with this?

    Thank you in advance!

    Rob

    Hello,

    Are you talking about active thumbnail? http://prntscr.com/desbv1
    It has opacity to highlight which image is active. I can remove it if you don’t like.
    Add the following code in custom CSS

    .thumbnails-list .active-thumbnail li {opacity: 1;}

    Regards

    Hi, sorry for late reply. I solved the issue. Even after I uploaded new images, regenerated thumbnails and cleared the cache, the thumbnail on the product page was the same. When I click the product its the new image. On a different browser, the new image is the new thumbnail. For some reason, I think Chrome is storing the old thumbnail. I just doesn’t update. No worries though because it does update for new users. Thanks, but all solved.
