    Hi!

I recently updated the XSTORE theme to the latest version and now I have a problem. When you try to save the theme settings, the message is displayed “There was a problem with your action. Please try again or reload the page.”

I looked in forums before opening this support. I found the link https://www.8theme.com/reply/162582/ which reported a problem with the “ModSecurity” of the server.

Once I’ve disabled it worked, but I can not have this feature disabled on the server. So I opened a ticket in the hosting service and they informed me that there is no type of block on the server for this case.

This way, I checked the state of the framework and the same pointed to one of the following messages:

wp_remote_get() failed. This is needed to get information from remote servers. Contact your hosting provider. Error: cURL error 7: Failed to connect to reduxframework.com port 80: Connection refused

I have a question: Does the framework make external access to this URL (reduxframework.com)?

In tests on the server using curl for reduxframework.com we were unable to access.

Can you help me with a final resolution?

    Hello,

Problem with action could be related also to additional plugins that you use or to PHP version, for example https://github.com/reduxframework/redux-framework/issues/3124

Do you have errors in the console when you save changes?

    Regards

    Hi Olga,

I found this topic indicated and made the correction that was informed, just ran the list of options of the theme. Saving continues the same problem!

Reminding: The problem is while saving the theme options.

    Can you help me?

    Hello,

Our Theme Options are based on Redux Framework plugin. Provide me admin panel and FTP access. I’ll check if anything could be done from our side.

    Regards

    Hi Olga,

ModSecurity was not enabled, so the error message was not displayed.

I enabled the function in the cpanel and tested again, the message is displayed.

    Could you test now again?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, I can’t login to your CPanel to check the problem because login is incorrect.
But I suppose if you get the browser console error that is related to a 404 on wp-admin/admin-ajax.php.

If your hosting provider has ModSecurity rule enabled on this file which prevents access, you should contact them to remove the rule for your domain because there is no other way to sort out the problem. Because you need to save options in your DB if you do not allow this then you get the error.

    Regards
