Theme Update – No Notification Displayed in WP Admin

    Hi there:

    I’m no longer seeing a notification to update the theme inside my WP Admin panel. I did receive an email notification of a theme update v6.1. Is there a glitch somewhere? Let the know. Same WP Admin login credentials as before if you need to log in.

    Thanks. Please also make sure there’s no issues after updating to the new theme version. I had an issue after updating to the last version where it didn’t save some of my settings. It had to do with the theme core I recall.

    Hello,

    The theme and Core plugin should be available for updating now.
    You can create a staging site (full copy of the existing one) and do updates of the theme and plugins there first. If everything is ok then you’ll be able to update the production site.

    Negative. I just logged int to check, still no theme update notification. Still using Theme 6.0.1 with Child Theme activated.

    Also, I noticed my Homepage Carousel is now not displaying properly. I haven’t touched it since the last Royal Theme update.

    For example, I’ve set Max visible to 3: https://prnt.sc/ptyyll
    But it would only display 2: https://prnt.sc/ptyyel – And also as is scrolls, it would show only 2, 1, and then all blanks. On both Safari and Chrome. Very odd. See: https://prnt.sc/ptyyel

    And you’ll also notice the carousel image doesn’t scroll as smooth in the beginning, it has this blink, then disappears along with the photo on each slide. Not sure if it has anything to do with requiring a theme update so it can work properly? Please log in and check for me. My login credential is in private content area.

    Dashboard > Updates > check again. The latest version of the core plugin you can download from this page – https://www.8theme.com/downloads/ https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/Plugins/Plugins_Update
    About the slider on your home page, I do not see the problem – https://gyazo.com/ead02d0964d28cd8b9434dbabb9f2478 Please clear browser cache and check now more time.
    Functionality of Slider revolution plugin is independent of the theme.
    We are theme author and provide support for the theme only.
    Please post different questions via different topics.

    Now I the theme update notification, it updated fine. Thank you.
    Was just wondering why the notification didn’t display couple days ago when I receive the notification from Envato of a new theme update available?

    Also, I noticed I have the Loader activated, but as I’m refreshing to view the pages, I’m not seeing the pre-loading icon, it just shows a white blank screen pause, then the page displays.

    Hello,

    After approval from Envato, the theme will be uploaded on the auto-update within 24 hours. Sometimes you need to click on the “Check again” button to be able to see the update notification.

    Try to disable all the third-party plugins, that do not come bundled with our theme, and check how it works then.

    I disabled all the 3rd party plugins to test, but it did not resolve the issues. Apparently when I click on the SHOP page, the pre-loader displays fine with the % status line then it opens up the page after loading: https://prnt.sc/pupznp

    But when I view other pages, I only see a blank white screen pause, but no loader icon, etc.

    I just activated the parent theme to test, and same results. I see the pre-loader icon with % when I view the SHOP page or Checkout Page. But on other pages, not pre-loader icon displays, only a blank white screen pause.

    Also, I noticed in the SHOP Catalog page, the Wishlist heart icon is now displaying over the “ADD TO” text link: https://prnt.sc/pv48dx – It wasn’t like this before the latest theme update. So there must be a bug after the latest theme update. Let m know. Thanks!

    Hello,

    1) It is a strange problem, which I can’t reproduce on my test site. I will pass this to one of our technicians.
    2) Please add this custom CSS code:

    .post-type-archive-product .add_to_wishlist span,
.single-product .productCarousel .add_to_wishlist span {
    display: none;
}

    Yeah strange, pre-loader shows when navigating to SHOP page, Wishlist page and Checkout page. But all other pages the pre-loader disappears only showing a pause for while blank screen.

    Hi, has your Technician gotten a chance to look into the issue of the pre-loader not working on the other pages on my site? The pre-loader displays fine for the SHOP Page, Wishlist Page and Checkout Page. But on other pages, I only see a pause with blank white screen during the page loading.

    I received an Email notification yesterday of a new theme update available. I waited 24 hours and yet there’s no notification of a theme update in my WP Admin. I did click on Check Again, etc.

    My current parent theme shows 6.1, I’m using Child Theme. Let me know. Thanks.

    Hello,

    That email was a notification about updating of theme price. It’s $39 because of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale. It’s not the update of the theme files.

    Hello,

    You may go to the Downloads page of your ThemeForest account, download theme package and compare version of theme archive with the one you use (check the style.css file to find version). Let me know if you using the older version of theme on your site than the one on themeforest.

    They match v6.1. I guess one of my other themes also sent me an email notification of an update, but I checked and apparently there was no newer version, just an on Sale Price thing like you said. Which is odd why Envato would sent out that type of notification of a theme update when there’s not one.

    On the preloaded issue, I just check and it’s not fixed. The preloaded only displays during transition to the SHOP page and Checkout and Billing page. When navigating to other pages, it still shows a pause with a blank white page during the loading.

    I did clear my browser cache on both Safari and Chrome.
