Theme struggling with volume of products?

    Hey,

    New user here and new to 8 theme. I am using the xtore theme (underwear or something like that) and my site is REALLY struggling with ANY searches. Is there a limit to how well this theme will work if there are a larger amount of products? I have Just under 5000 products in my webstore.

    I have increased the memory limit to 256m in the default constants file, but it’s not liking it.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Just switched to my Astra theme with Pro addon etc. and the search works perfectly on that. Can someone from Eight Theme please get in touch so we can arrange a refund for me? Unfortunately, it looks like the theme just can’t handle the requirements for my site.
