Theme speed after update - by Namaste - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Hi,

I would like to check in with you about theme speed.I understood that recent update was going to speed up things, and initially it was true (before site crashed…) It was 45 on mobile and around 92 on destop – now it is 21/75 according to Page Speed Insights (similar wit gtmetrix – also slower)

Now it seems to be even worse. What is the reason?
Connected question – AMP plugin – what is the use of it and how it works? Will it help with mobile speed?
I appreciate your constant efforts to implement new functionalities, and I hope I will be able to figure out the speed.

Plus slider is not loeading.

Could you, please, provide us with WP Dashboard access to check the optimization settings that you use?
Slider is ok for me https://prnt.sc/1hk1qgp Which one does not load?

Hi Olga,

We removed most of the slides so now it is more hero image rather than slider… maybe that has helped. But the issue was on and off – sometimes it loaded sometimes not and if not we had to refresh page to make it visible. Anyway we are working on replacing it with les problematic solution.

I also removed one product carousel fro main page and unused plugins. It made the speed better on gtmetrix (65 C) but still we have the same issues listed, so please take a look when possible.

Hello,

Theme optimization settings are ok. Try to install Nitro Pack plugin instead of the W3 total cache.

Hi – do you have recommended settings for nitro?

Do you have any documentation for AMP? Would this help with mobile speed?

Hello,

We don’t have any special recommendations for the plugin settings. Our theme support all of them. So, just check the plugin documentation and setup guide.

We are working on documentation of the AMP plugin. It will be released within 1-2 days.

XStore AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) is a plugin released to help improve the mobile browsing experience. It is created to render the page faster by only loading the text, media, simple styles without scripts and many styles that Elementor or WPBakery plugin generate, so it supports the WooCommerce page (because pages come with simple styles and texts) and does not support pages created Elementor/WPBakery.
