[Theme: Legenda} How to change sort order of products on main store page

Hi! I would like to change the default sort order of my products on the main store page to the newest products displaying first. With this theme, the customer does have the option of sorting it however they want, but initially I would like my newest items to display on top.

I have searched but cannot find a field to change in the customize theme section for Legenda. I appreciate any help and guidance.

Hello,

You can change it in the \wp-content\plugins\woocommerce\includes\wc-template-functions.php file

Also we recommended to make all changes in the Child Theme
https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
