Theme installation results in server error 500

    Hi
    I purchased and installed the theme yesterday, and it resulted in server error 500. I’ve already contacted my host, and they say that theme is not compatible with the php versions they have on the server. They have enabled three different versions of php on my site: php5.3 php5.4 and php5.5 and the error is still there. Therefore they ask me to ask you if the theme is compatible with these versions.

    Hello,

    The theme requires PHP version 5.3 or higher.
    Ask your hosting provider support to increase memory_limit value and check your site after that.

    Hi

    Here’s the reply from my host:

    PHP 5.5 is running by default on the server, which is higher than php 5.3, so we can easily rule out any requirements issues.

    “I have increased the memory limit to 512mb for the site too, via .user.ini in public_html yet the issue persists.

    However, the issues you are being faced with, are coming from the theme itself which is rendering coding related errors:
    PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function vc_add_params() in /home3/dorispol/public_html/wp-content/themes/classico/framework/shortcodes/tabs.php on line 20”.

    Hi

    It was an old version of Visual composer that caused server error 500. My host has fixed that. However, I still have problems. I am not able to install Ultimate addons for Visual Composer (message: plugin does not have a valid header). There are also updates to Visual Composer and Master Slider Pro that I am unable to install.
    How do I access the different versions of the theme? I want to use ‘Margaret’, but I can’t find it.

    Please provide us with FTP login details.

    To install other template go to Theme Options > Import/Export.
